Why was the spider her inspiration in art?
ReplyDeleteLouise bourgeois said that the spider sculpture was her inspiration in art because it reminded her of her mother a person that was always spinning and weaving. It also reminded her of her childhood in France.she came to the U.S. from france because in france it was hard for a female to be recognized an an artist or sculpture.
I think that spiders were an inspiration in her art because it is something no one else would think of doing because most people are afraid of spiders also it is unique.
